WHAT KIND OF PHONE ARE YOU??

I don't get 'phone people', those type of people always updating their cell phones and shiz, it doesn't make any sense to me. The purpose of the phone is to call someone, so what's the deal with all those smart phones and android phones? Aren't they're the same!?

Anyways, at my internship, I'm handling a large amount of the social media aspect and just to help and make life easier I'm going to need a new type of phone and I was thinking a blackberry because I noticed a lot of people carry blackberry phones for work. I'm browsing through t-mobile and I don't understand this phone language and idgaf either. Ahhhhhhh!.....cell phones....ridiculous.....

I'm 23 and I've only had 5 phones in my entire life......yes just 5 cell phones. My first cell was when I was 10, this was when they started remodeling the cells from how they used to be in Wall Street (the movie) and I was only allowed to use that for emergencies like when my mom was late picking me up from school. My second phone was given to me when I was 12, back then it was the latest thing out, very small and sleek (motorola baby). Third phone at 15, again a small phone, wasn't the latest, but I didn't give a shiz, a phone is a phone. Fourth phone came at 18, my favorite I miss it soooooo much, it was small, black and purple, nokia...just beautiful *tear*. Now my current and 5th phone Samsung Dart, I hate it! It's everything I'm against, but my beautiful nokia died (r.i.p.) and I needed a phone that was affordable and snatched it up from HSN (Home Shopping Network). It's a touchscreen only (ew), just ridiculous.

So if you noticed, I only got a new phone every 3 years, because I only bought a new phone when ran it's course, I was never and still am not one of those people who just get a new phone because it comes free with re-newing a contract; that's so stupid. Don't get trapped in that 'lightbulb theory' shiz.

And I can go ON about how android and stupid smartphones are a tool for the gov't to keep track of you and shiz, but I love my life so no.

NEED TO MAKE SOME MOVES

I have a plan for next year, I always have a plan for every new year, but I really really really wanna carry this one through.

QUIT MY JOB: I'm past caring about finding a new one right away, right now I'm in a good place; I have a great internship working out and with my tax return next year, I think can be alright for a month or two without a job which should be sufficient enough time to look for a new one. When I took this cashier position it was temporary because it was so hard looking for a job and then I noticed I got comfortable, but that shouldn't be, the supermarket is not something I see long term in my future so I have to keep moving, Bye suckas!!!!!!!!

WAKE UP EARLY: I've been such a night owl, mainly because  of my sorry ass job and I never wanna get up early because there's no energy left for me and that has to stop because I'm missing out on sunshine. Yesterday I just realized that I haven't looked up at the big beautiful blue sky in more than a month, that's sad...

ENJOY LIFE: I haven't really done anything to enjoy life lately, well I'ma be honest, in years! Sure I hang with my friends sometimes, but it's usually the same old thing; go to a bar, a burger joint, or movies, it's getting lame. I need to explore! I actually have two projects I want to put into effect, one is THE WHITE T-SHIRT PROJECT, where everyday I'm going to wear an outfit and the white t-shirt is the staple item. The other project is exploring all of Manhattan, and I do mean ALL OF IT; every week go to a different neighborhood and take pictures like in Harlem, Murray Hill, ABC city, Soho, Noho, Nolita, Greenwich Village, East Village, South Street, Wall Street, etc.

MR. SANDMAN ALWAYS BRINGS ME A DREAM

It's funny when people say they don't remember their dreams, sometimes I think they're lying and it boggles me how they don't really care to remember them in the first place (earth signs probably). Dreams are so amazing to me, it's like you're entered into another dimension.

My dreams are always like wtfs; since I always get lost into tv shows, books, and movies, they seem to make their way into my dreams. Have you've ever noticed that - not what I just wrote in particular - the past day events usually are projected into your dreams? Or when you have a dream where there's something or someone specific always there. Or even more eerie, a dream where you remember every little thing to the point where you think for a sec that maybe it wasn't a dream because it seemed so real. I hate those.

I used to have a repetitive dream of a wolf back in my teens, it wasn't the exact same dream, just that it involved a wolf. It got to the point where I said to myself this has to mean something important to me and when I finally got it interpreted the wolf symbolized me I couldn't believe it.

I also had this dream I'll never forget, it was on January 1st, 2010, I was in a car with someone driving on a road in the middle of a desert, and there was someone in a car behind us so for some reason we were going to drive back from where we came, but the road was completely different, it wasn't smooth as before but with potholes and just bumpy, and the guy that was in the car behind said "you can't turn back, you always have to move forward". Great dream.

somewhat similar to the dream
I've also had a dream where I felt so happy and free, was a feeling I never really experienced before and I was in the country just running, spinning, and just enjoying every minute of it and I remember I was in a middle of a wheat field or whatever and took a deep deep breath and just gazing at the sky. That was a bit of heaven for me.

HOLLYWOOD HAS NO RESPECT

I'm a tough critic when it comes to movies, I take films quite seriously and I discerned a long time ago that it comes down to three things that makes a movie good.
  • the director
  • the script
  • and the actors
Obviously you have to have a good director from the inception; a director can have a killer script and some great actors, but if he's steering the movie into a bad direction (Michael Bay), then it's blah. Scripts are hella important and that's also when you know if the director is good or not when he has decided to do a movie on a terrible ass script. There are movies that I sat through and couldn't believe that the director or producer weren't like "what the fuck you have these actors saying and acting out?!" (Melissa Rosenberg) - by the way, whoever enjoys all the twilight movies, STOP READING MY DAMN BLOG, SERIOUSLY, you have no respect for film whatsoever - some of these screen writers are acting like they're writing a children's book, corniest language.

I'm not going to go in about how important it is to have good actors, I think that's pretty self-explanatory, though there are those who think actors such as Channing Tatum is good and all I have to say to them is that they need to get their life together.

Any who, the reason I'm even writing about this in the first place is because I'm re-reading the I Am Number Four series (just got the copy of Rise of Nine and to refresh) and it brings back the animosity I have towards Michael Bay for ruining my favorite sci-fi book. Yes I know! the movie is never as good as the book, but you're wrong! Hello! Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, ring any bells?? What Mr. Michael Bay did was not follow some of the major characters descriptions (like really...really?), focused on stuff blowing up as usual, and changing the story's facts which irks me!

I can also go in on Hunger Games, but trust me you don't want me to.

Just saying if you're going to turn a great book into a movie, do it fucking right!! That's all :-)
