Winter Is Coming...In Game of Thrones that is

So excited!!!!! Can't wait for the 4th season premier of Game of Thrones, it's been too damn long. On my facebook I had started a 30 day countdown with a favorite quote of mine each day from Game of Thrones (6 more days by the way) and it honestly helped the days go by faster. Yes...I know...I'm pretty obsessed.

Anyways there's this youtube channel I've been viewing recently that centers around Game of Thrones and the guy who does the videos actually revealed a very interesting theory that Ned Stark's bastard, the sexy Jon Snow, may not even be his bastard, but may be his sister Lyanna's son!

If you just watch the show, in the first few episodes you learn briefly about Robert's rebellion and what sort of kick-start it was the supposed 'kidnap' of Lyanna Stark by Rhaegar Targaryean who was betrothed to Robert Baratheon. Her eldest brother Brandon went straight to kingslanding to pop off on Rhaegar. Rhaegar's crazy ass daddy, the Mad King Aerys, imprisoned him and his men and summoned their fathers to kill them all together. So near the end of the rebellion Ned got to Lyanna too late when she was passing which in the book it said she was on a bed with blue roses (where do you just find blue roses???) and blood and told Ned "promise me..." which in the first book that last moment always crosses his mind.

So the scene where she's in a bed full of blood could be from childbirth and most likely told Ned to promise her to raise Jon as his own to protect him. Ned Stark is known as an honorable man so it seems so unlikely that he would marry Catelyn and screw some other woman and just bring some bastard to his castle which is really disrespectful.

I really had to help share this theory with people, it got me so excited and I couldn't help it. DON'T JUDGE ME!! lol
